Choose the correct answer.

Which of the following goes through Incomplete Metamorphosis?
A. Grasshopper
B. Caterpillar
That's Correct!
It's Wrong!

A grasshopper hatches out of an egg and is called a nymph. This nymph sheds its skin or molts 4-8 times until it becomes an adult grasshopper. This process of 3 stages is called Incomplete Metamorphosis.

On the other hand, a caterpillar goes through Complete Metamorphosis. An egg hatches into a larva called a caterpillar. Next is the pupa stage where the larva is wrapped in a cocoon and makes the many changes which will turn it into an adult. Finally, from the pupa emerges a butterfly. Four stages are necessary in this process.
